Duo Cavatina is an award-winning flute and guitar partnership.
A duo for more than 10 years, Duo Cavatina has performed in numerous concert series throughout the Northeast. They have been featured guests on live radio interview shows on WNYC (New York Public Radio) and WNTI (North Jersey Public Radio) and their Pittsburgh (PA) benefit recital was recorded and broadcast on WQED.
Carol Shansky (flute) and Seth Himmelhoch (guitar) - continue to inspire, enthuse and energize audiences with music that explores different cultures and styles, presented in a classical format.

Duo Cavatina is a winner of the Artists International Prize and have been invited performers at the 2002 and 2004 National Flute Association Convention, events that draw over 2,000 attendees.
